A Chair for Baby Bear, was shortlisted for both the Sheffield Children’s Book Award and the Book Trust Early Years Award. It was also featured on CBBC’s Tikkabilla. The Snowdragon by Vivian French was part animated and featured on Jackanory Junior, read by the actor Adrian Lester, and is a favourite in South Korea. With the help of enthusiastic staff he is encouraging the children to write and illustrate their own pieces of work with a view to holding an exhibition early in the new year.

He is currently working on a new picture book for Frances Lincoln at the same time as developing a new style to his illustrations.

Chris lives in Bristol and enjoys music and sports but spends most of his spare time drawing.
